Gar, as he was known was a milkman and a farmer. He was very quiet and enjoyed a subtle sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing with his son Don in Sarasota, Florida. It should be noticed that 60 years of his life was lived at the 23 Ratcliffe Lane homestead in Preakness, New Jersey. He was a life member and was very active in the Christian Reformed Church. He took his chatachism at the 2nd Christian Reformed Church which is located in Prospect Park, New Jersey. He was known as "Gerben" by his sisters. | |
